This section provides you with a list of each query that has been searched on your site, sorted by popularity.
You can use this information to make sure that the most used words are providing users with the search results you desire as well as discovering what's trending among your users, which can contribute to your general content strategy.
The search words are presented in a table of three sortable columns: search word, number of searches, and change.
The table is searchable and can be exported as a CSV file for use in other programs.
Reminder: The analytics are displayed for the engine and time period chosen in the top bar:
Data presented in "All search words"
Search word: This presents each search term that has been used on your site. Click this header to sort the list alphabetically by search terms.
By hovering your cursor over a search word, you can access a drop-down menu that provides you with a quick path to setting up a tool for that specific search term. Each tool that appears in the drop-down menu is described in detail in its own section.
If a search term has already been modified using one of those tools, the corresponding initial will be displayed next to that word.
Unique searches: The number in this column represents the number of sessions in which this search was performed.
Change: The 'Change' metric compares the number of unique searches in the chosen period with the previous period, telling you how the search term in question is trending.
