This section provides you with a list of each word that has been searched on your site. You can use this information to make sure that the most used words are providing users with the search results you desire. The search words are presented in a table of three sortable columns: search word, number of searches, and change.
The table is searchable and can be exported as a CSV file for use in other programs.
This search word column presents each word that has been searched on your site. The column can be sorted alphabetically, and like the windows on your dashboard, if you click on any search word in this table, a test search is performed using that word, allowing you to quickly see if the results for that search word are meeting your expectations. This is the fastest way to check in on what your website visitors are looking for- it should inform your ongoing content strategy, as well as your business forecasting.
By hovering your cursor over a search word, you can access a drop-down menu that provides you with a quick path to many of My Cludo’s tools. You can use these tools to easily modify the selected search word directly from this table. Each tool that appears in the drop-down menu is described in detail in its own section.
There is an initial for each tool displayed in the drop-down menu. If a search word has already been modified using one of those tools, the corresponding initial will be displayed next to that word.
Number and Change
The number and change columns present the total number of times a word from this table has been searched and change in that number over the previous period of time (as defined by your content filter i.e. the results of a 7 day period will be compared to the previous 7 days).
