For instances where you want to run a crawl on-demand or manually, simply go to your Settings on the left side of your MyCludo dashboard and select Crawlers. Select the crawler that you’d like to run, and in the bottom of the screen there is a toggle button where you can decide whether to start a crawln when saving. This will trigger a new crawl if enabled.
To see the status of your crawl, go back to your Crawlers menu and view the Crawler log.
Activating or Deactivating a crawl:
Activating a crawl will allow the crawler to index the site(s) on the specified scheduled set by your contract. Deactivating a crawl will stop the crawler from indexing the site(s) until re-activated.
Adding, updating, or deleting a page
To manually update a specific page, go into Tools on the left side of your MyCludo dashboard and select Update Content.
Copy & paste the URL to the page you want to be updated in your search. If you add the URL to a new page we will simply add it to the crawl, and if it already exists we will update it. If you’ve removed a page from your website or content management system and want it removed from the search, simply just paste the URL to the page you have removed. It can take a few minutes for the changes to go into effect.
