When website visitors hit a 404 page, it’s important to re-engage the visitor with suggested pages to prevent them from bouncing and finding information elsewhere. With 404 analytics, understand how visitors are getting to 404 pages, how often, from where, and whether they found the content they were looking for.
To view 404 analytics
Once there has been a registered 404 visit, the 404 Analytics tab will appear on your MyCludo dashboard and within your Analytics settings.
404 Analytic Metrics:
Total 404 Visits: Total number of page visits to a 404 page during the specified time period
Total Clicks: Total number of clicks on the suggested results that appear within the intelligent 404 page
Click-Through Rate (CTR): The rate at which the 404 suggested pages are clicked. This number is the percentage of visitors who hit a 404 page and click on a suggested page. This does not include any instances where there are no suggested pages.
